CHIN & CHEEK IMPLANTS

Chin and Cheek implants are designed to provide a more vibrant look by correcting a receding chin and providing high cheek bones. The implants are made from nontoxic materials such as silicone, porous polyethylene and expanded polytetrafluoroethylene. They come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes.

Chin and Cheek implants can be done as an outpatient procedure with local anesthesia and IV sedation. Recovery time is minimal. You need to rest 24 hours after the procedure and can get back to normal activities around 3-4 days. There will be stitches that will be removed in 5-7 days. You can expect most bruising and swelling to resolve in 1 week.
